EN 55022/EN 55032 Testing

EN55022 Test being performed on Information Technology Equipment (ITE)

EN 55022 (also written as EN55022) is the EMC emissions testing standards for "Information Technology Equipment" (known as ITE). This standard is being replaced by EN 55032 (also written as EN55032) which in essence combined ITE equipment, broadcast related equipment, and audio/video equipment into a single category called multi media equipment.

The EN 55022 has a withdrawl date of March 2017. Any equipment placed on the market after that date will need to comply with the new EN 55032 standards. If you need EN55022 or EN55032 testing D.L.S. can perform it for you. Just request a quote and you'll be on your way.

The final version was EN 55022:2010 and it included the following requirements, for either Class A or Class B devices:

The associated EMC immunity standards under the EN 55024 are expected to be replaced by EN 55033.

To determine how these changes affect your products and equipment, call us at 847-537-6400, or request a quote and one of our experts will be able to assess your situation during this transitional period.

D.L.S. also does the associated safety testing for ITE products (EN60950 testing). See the EN 60950 testing D.L.S. can do for you.
