The D.L.S. Electronic Systems Board of Directors announced today the following executive management changes:

Our new President is Don’s son, Corey L. Sweeney, who has been with D.L.S. since its inception. For the past several years Corey, as Executive Manager, has been overseeing several aspects of D.L.S. business activities and expanding his leadership abilities under Don’s direction in preparation for this position. He attended DePaul University with a concentration of studies in Computer Science.

Our new Chief Executive Officer is Don’s wife, Marilyn R. Sweeney. She has also been a part of the company since its inception in 1983, assuming various positions over the years. She has co-authored many industry-related papers. She has a MA in Written Composition from Northeastern Illinois University. 

Our General Manager, Brian Mattson, has been with D.L.S. for 34 years. He was appointed to the position of General Manager in 1996. Before that he held roles as Lab Manager & EMC Test Engineer. Brian has an EET degree from DeVry Institute of Technology and has completed his CBA from UIC. He has been involved with all aspects of D.L.S. using Don as his mentor to gain the Business & Technical knowledge needed to run the company on a daily basis. He is a member of the IEEE EMC Society & is involved with the ACIL. 

Our new Wheeling Lab Manager, Mark Rozema, has been with D.L.S. for over twenty years. He previously held roles at D.L.S. as a Senior EMC Test Engineer and as Technical Writer, preparing MIL-STD test plans. Mark, a certified iNarte engineer since 2003, has an EET degree from DeVry Institute of Technology in Addison. 

D.L.S. and the new management team are well positioned to continue the legacy of Don Sweeney’s vision of providing the best technical compliance support to our clients and customers.
